Cheryl is an accomplished business professional with more than 25 years of leadership, managerial, project management and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to transitioning from a corporate environment, she studied Naturopathy and Ayurveda, then earned a degree in Integrative Medicine. She is an experienced management consultant for integrative medical practices and former Vice-President of Operations for an integrative medical university. As a practitioner in a conventional medical practice for many years, Cheryl offered diet and lifestyle counseling, using integrative approaches that incorporated Ayurveda for management of obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.
She is honored to serve the National Ayurvedic Medical Association as its first Executive Director at this very important and exciting time in the organization’s history. Cheryl will offer her business operations, project management and leadership skills to advance NAMA’s mission to promote Ayurveda for the benefit of humanity.
